Description The Minolta AF 100mm f/2.8 Soft Focus is a distinctive portrait lens designed for Minolta A-mount autofocus cameras. Combining a classic 100mm portrait focal length with a specialized soft-focus effect, it allows photographers to create beautifully diffused images with a gentle, dreamy atmosphere while retaining the convenience of autofocus operation. Unlike conventional soft-focus filters, this lens features a dedicated soft-focus control that adjusts the degree of optical diffusion. This makes it possible to achieve different rendering effects, from relatively sharp images with subtle softness to more pronounced, romantic effects. Its bright f/2.8 maximum aperture also provides attractive background separation, making it particularly suitable for portraits, weddings, and artistic photography. With its unique optical characteristics and versatile creative control, the Minolta AF 100mm f/2.8 Soft Focus is a highly interesting lens for both photographers and collectors of classic Minolta equipment.
