Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
Polished Kambaba Jasper Pyramid
A Kambaba Jasper pyramid with four polished triangular faces, defined edges and a square base. Its geometric shape contrasts with the richly irregular orbicular pattern running through the stone.
This specimen combines sage and olive-green centres with broad black rings, finer concentric outlines and flowing mustard-yellow to ochre streaks. Some rounded markings merge into paired or elongated forms, while others remain distinct against a finely mottled green background. Each face reveals a different arrangement, from dense clusters of dark rings to more open green areas.
The polished surfaces bring out the contrast between the deep dark zones and lighter green markings. Small pits, fine surface lines and local irregularities are visible on some faces and along the edges, including near the apex.
Kambaba Jasper is a trade name for an orbicular volcanic rock rather than a single mineral species. Laboratory studies of Kambaba material have identified quartz, alkali feldspar, amphibole and pyroxene. A curious aspect of its rounded markings is that microscopy reveals radial mineral aggregates: their eye-like appearance can conceal a remarkably intricate crystalline structure.
An ornamental pyramid with a strong graphic presence, combining a precise geometric silhouette with the intricate green, black and ochre palette of Kambaba stone.
