Detailed Description

This lot consists of one original Arnold 0142 five-wagon “Rheingold” set together with one additional Arnold 3857 second-class coach, representing Era II of the Deutsche Reichsbahn.

The Arnold 0142 set consists of:

– First-class saloon coach with kitchen – running number 20 503 Köln
– First-class saloon coach – running number 20 506 Köln
– Second-class saloon coach – running number 24 502 Köln
– Second-class saloon coach with kitchen – running number 24 501 Köln
– Baggage wagon – running number 90 202 Köln

The additional Arnold 3857 is a second-class saloon coach with running number 24 508 Köln.

Each of the five passenger coaches measures approximately 147 mm over the buffers. The baggage wagon measures approximately 123 mm over the buffers.

The baggage wagon features two pairs of opening sliding doors on each side. All doors are fully functional.

All six wagons are equipped with interior lighting. Due to their age, the lighting in some wagons may flicker when placed on the track. The electrical contacts may require cleaning or adjustment.

All six wagons are new and unused, having been taken out only for inspection and testing.

Packaging

The Arnold 0142 set comes in its correct original Arnold set packaging. The additional Arnold 3857 coach comes in its correct original Arnold packaging.

The original packaging may show signs of storage wear. Some boxes may have small cracks or scuffs.
