Polished Golden Fossil Coral Sphere A warm golden fossil coral sphere presented on a black metal stand, combining a classic geometric form with an intricate pattern of small rounded and flower-like structures. Ochre, honey and earthy brown tones flow across the polished surface, creating a richly textured appearance despite the smooth finish. The dark openwork stand raises the sphere above the display surface and gives the warm stone a clear visual frame. This combination makes an engaging accent for a shelf, desk or cabinet of natural curiosities, where its detailed pattern can be appreciated from different angles. Approximate sphere diameter: 8.8 cm. Overall height on the metal stand: 16 cm. Total weight including stand: 1120 g. Corals are colonial marine animals whose individual skeletal units are called corallites. In fossil coral, these repeated structures can remain recognisable after mineralisation; cut and polished into a sphere, they become a fascinating continuous pattern across the surface.
