It is shaped like the top of a mountain — a smooth, green dome rising out of the earth, caught in polished stone. This is a natural green jasper ornamental stone, cut into a half-dome silhouette and polished until it glows with the deep, even green of jade. The colour is quiet and rich — the green of a forest seen through rain, the green of ancient bronzes, the green that Chinese scholars have prized for thousands of years. Look at it: The smooth, rounded dome — a perfect arc, like the brow of a hill. The deep, even green, warm and translucent at the edges where the light passes through. The cool, polished surface, smooth as river stone. The dark wooden base, carved to hold the dome securely — and, beside it, the small green branch of a pine, a traditional companion in Chinese display: stone and pine, mountain and tree. In the Chinese tradition of ornamental stones, a jade mountain is more than decoration. It is a landscape in miniature — a place to rest your eyes, a small piece of nature brought indoors. This stone delivers exactly that: a mountain you can hold, a hill that fits on a desk. At 20 × 19 × 5 cm including its base, it is a substantial, commanding piece — equally at home on an office desk, a bookshelf, a display cabinet, or a study table. The jade itself measures 16 × 17 × 2 cm. Whether you collect ornamental stones, appreciate Chinese aesthetics, or simply want a quiet, beautiful object for a room — this green jasper mountain is a small, unique piece of the earth, ready to be displayed.
