A RUGGED VINTAGE SHEARLING WITH AUTHENTIC CHARACTER

A true outdoor shearling, built to face real winters: genuine double-face sheepskin with a warm cognac leather exterior and a thick, cream-coloured natural fleece covering the entire interior. Its original leather patch with the ram emblem certifies the material ("Original Shearling").

THE MATERIAL
The leather is thick and full-bodied, with a pronounced natural grain and a beautiful tobacco-cognac colour that has developed a deep, lived-in patina over the years, the kind that collectors of vintage workwear and aviator-style shearling actively look for and that no new garment can reproduce. Inside, the dense cream fleece offers outstanding warmth and comfort. One single natural hide, no fabric lining, no synthetic padding.

THE DESIGN
Every detail is designed for function, in the tradition of the great field and aviator coats:
- Front closure with natural wooden toggles and leather loops.
- Throat-latch tab at the collar with metal eyelets, to close the shearling collar tight against wind and cold.
- Generous shearling collar, to wear open or turned up.
- Four pockets: two slanted hand-warmer pockets with pointed flaps, and two large bellows cargo pockets with flaps below.
- Shaped yokes front and back with double topstitching.
- Banded cuffs with shearling showing at the edges.

THE STYLE
A masculine, timeless coat, presumably from the 1980s–90s, that embodies the rugged elegance of vintage outdoor clothing. Its relaxed fit and mid-thigh length make it easy to wear with jeans and a knit, as in the photos, for an effortlessly authentic look. Today, new shearling coats of this weight and construction easily reach well over a thousand euros.

AN INVESTMENT THAT LASTS
A shearling like this has already proved its durability, and with proper care it will last for many more years, only gaining in character.

CONDITION
Good vintage condition with visible signs of use, consistent with its age and part of its character: natural patina and colour variations on the leather, lighter areas on the left sleeve, darker marks near the back of the cuffs, and wear on the edges of pocket flaps and hem. The leather remains soft and the fleece full; all toggles and the collar tab are present. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show the condition accurately.

Un vero montone da esterno, fatto per affrontare inverni veri: autentico double-face in pelle di pecora, con esterno in pelle cognac calda e interno interamente rivestito da una lana naturale spessa color crema. L'etichetta originale in pelle con l'emblema dell'ariete ne certifica il materiale ("Original Shearling").

IL MATERIALE
La pelle è spessa e corposa, con una grana naturale marcata e un bellissimo colore tabacco-cognac che negli anni ha sviluppato una patina profonda e vissuta, quella che i collezionisti di workwear vintage e di montoni in stile aviatore cercano attivamente e che nessun capo nuovo può riprodurre. All'interno, la lana crema e folta offre calore e comfort eccezionali. Un'unica pelle naturale, senza fodera in tessuto né imbottiture sintetiche.

IL DESIGN
Ogni dettaglio è pensato per la funzione, nella tradizione dei grandi field coat e giacconi da aviatore:
- Chiusura frontale con alamari in legno naturale e asole in pelle.
- Linguetta sottogola al collo con occhielli in metallo, per chiudere il collo in montone contro vento e freddo.
- Ampio collo in montone, da portare aperto o rialzato.
- Quattro tasche: due tasche scaldamani oblique con pattine a punta e, sotto, due grandi tasche a soffietto con pattina.
- Carré sagomati davanti e dietro con doppia impuntura.
- Polsini a fascia con il montone che affiora sui bordi.

LO STILE
Un cappotto maschile e senza tempo, presumibilmente anni '80-'90, che incarna l'eleganza rude dell'abbigliamento outdoor vintage. La vestibilità comoda e la lunghezza a metà coscia lo rendono facile da portare con jeans e maglia, come nelle foto, per un look autentico e disinvolto. Oggi un montone nuovo di questo peso e di questa costruzione supera facilmente il migliaio di euro.
