This exceptional specimen is in an excellent state of maintenance and preservation; the leather is still robust and taut with very few signs of wear, which give it further value.
The same is true of the chrome-plated part, which is still in excellent condition, with some small parts oxidated if examined with obsessive attention.
Gavina label still nearly intact
This model was made in the late 1960s by Gavina before the licence was patent to Knoll.
