La pluma se presenta en muy buen estado general de conservación, acorde con su antigüedad y uso normal a lo largo de los años. El cuerpo y el capuchón mantienen un brillo profundo y uniforme, con leves microseñales superficiales visibles únicamente bajo observación cercana, propias de una pluma vintage bien cuidada. No se aprecian grietas, fisuras ni reparaciones.

Los anillos decorativos y el clip conservan un acabado dorado atractivo, con ligeros signos de desgaste estético compatibles con el paso del tiempo, sin pérdidas estructurales ni deformaciones. El remate del capuchón con la estrella Montblanc se encuentra íntegro y bien definido.

La ventana de tinta presenta una tonalidad ámbar clara y homogénea, permitiendo una correcta visualización del nivel de tinta, sin opacidades ni manchas relevantes.

El plumín de acero con baño dorado se encuentra en buen estado funcional, con desgaste superficial del baño acorde a la edad y uso, sin afectación a la escritura. La alineación es correcta y el conjunto plumín–alimentador ofrece una escritura firme, constante y fiable.

El sistema de carga por pistón funciona correctamente, desplazándose con suavidad y asegurando una carga eficiente.

En conjunto, se trata de una Montblanc 236 honesta, original y plenamente operativa, ideal tanto para uso diario como para colección vintage.
