Description from the seller

Tea strainer in .800 silver, created by the Swiss firm Jezler, founded in 1822 and renowned for its mastery in goldsmithing. During the tea ceremony, the small upper grid slides to the side as the tea is poured from the teapot into the cup, preventing the leaves from passing into the liquid and trapping them in the strainer.
