Luis Arostegui Granados was born in Granada in 1932. He began his career as a cabinetmaker. He later began building guitars and studied with Manuel de la Chica. He worked for other guitar makers in Granada before settling in Madrid in 1960. There he opened his own workshop and has been influenced by the Madrid guitar school ever since. He builds classical guitars rather than flamenco guitars. His instruments are known all over the world and are played by renowned artists. Today these guitars are outstanding representatives of the Madrid guitar school.

This instrument was made in 1983.

Despite its 42 years, it is in excellent condition.

Its sound is a balanced combination of bright higs and full bass
