Ger van Oers

Dit is een antieke handmatige koffiemolen, uitgevoerd in hout met een metalen maalmechanisme en een houten slingerknop. Het model heeft een klassieke, tijdloze vormgeving met een vierkante houten behuizing en een uittrekbaar laatje aan de voorzijde voor het opvangen van de gemalen koffie.

De bovenkant is voorzien van een metalen trechter met draaimechanisme, waarmee de koffiebonen handmatig worden gemalen. De slinger en het binnenwerk tonen duidelijke sporen van gebruik en ouderdom, wat bijdraagt aan de authentieke uitstraling.

De koffiemolen verkeert in gebruikte staat met zichtbare slijtage aan het hout en patina op het metaal, passend bij een object van deze leeftijd. Dit type molen werd veel gebruikt in huishoudens in de late 19e en vroege 20e eeuw.
