Description of Lot:
This lot features a rare partial set of four (4) vintage golf irons from the iconic Slazenger brand, part of the coveted Bobby Locke signature line.
• Clubs Included: 3 Iron, 5 Iron, 6 Iron, and 7 Iron.
• Design: These are classic muscle-back/blade irons, a design favored by skilled players of the era for feel and workability.
• Era: These irons were manufactured during the peak of Bobby Locke's fame and endorsement, generally placing their production between c. 1955 and 1965. They are a genuine piece of mid-20th-century golf history.
• Shaft Detail: The original steel shafts feature a clear decal reading "Slazenger," "Bobby Locke," and "DOWNDOWN M," which likely designates a specific shaft type or flex.
Condition Report (Important):
The clubs are in used, vintage condition consistent with their age of approximately 60-70 years.
