Louis Poulsen Butler floor lamp from Denmark, dating to the 1970s, made of metal with a red finish, featuring two adjustable lamp heads, a height of about 132 cm and a base depth/width of 22 cm, supplied as a single item in fair condition with working order and one black on/off switch knob missing.
Description from the seller
Louis Poulsen “Butler” Floor Lamp – 1970s Danish Design
Elegant and functional Butler floor lamp, designed by Louis Poulsen’s design studio under the direction of Bent Gantzel-Boysen and produced by Louis Poulsen, Denmark.
This classic floor lamp originates from the 1970s and is a strong example of Scandinavian industrial design, combining functionality with a clean, architectural expression. The lamp features two adjustable lamp heads, allowing flexible control of the light direction, making it suitable for reading, workspaces, or ambient lighting.
The lamp is made of metal, with a black lacquered stand and colored metal shades with white reflective interiors, providing an efficient and pleasant light. The base is equipped with wheels, making the lamp easy to move and practical in both private and professional interiors.
Condition
The lamp is in good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use consistent with its period.
Please note that one of the original black on/off switch knobs is missing. This does not affect the functionality of the lamp in any way – both light sources operate as intended – and the issue is purely cosmetic.
