Description from the seller
Recently, I was able to purchase a number of items from the private collection of A.D. Kievit in Heeze, Netherlands.
This is a buyer artist who made beautiful items from shells during the Second World War between 1940 and 1950.
It is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship that is becoming increasingly rare.
Two vases and a lamp made from shells from 1942.
The shells are 25 cm high and weigh 0.8 kg each; they are made from 100 mm ammunition.
The lamp is made from a 75 mm grenade shell and is 18 cm tall. Weight: 0.7 kg.
They form a beautiful combination.
This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be carefully packed, shipped via registered mail with insurance, and includes a Track & Trace code so you can follow the shipment. Pickup in Ridderkerk - Zuid Holland is also possible. I have delicious hand-ground coffee.
