[12], 304 p., XX pl. (17 folded). Text in Latin and Italian on facing pages. The plates are numbered I--XX with one unnumbered plate at page 20, many are made up of two sheets joined together, and pl. XVII of four sheets joined together. Plate IX has an engraved note pasted onto it. Based on the author's archaeological excavations in the Farnese estates in Rome in the 1720s and published posthumously by Bianchini's son Giuseppe, who signs the dedication to Louis XV of France. Period binding in vellum, with label on the spine. Magnificently restored copy
