Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Vespa Piaggio 50 L from 1969, frame V5A1T*628588, located in Central Italy, in very good condition and without registration papers.
Description from the seller
Vespa Piaggio 50 L year 1969, 3 gears
Round lighthouse, original hawthorn color.
Sella Aquila
Excellent conditions, functioning.
Has no documents - legitimate origin.
I hereby file a report for lost documents, (see photo).
This is a genuine 50L long wheelbase, which means the top-of-the-line model and not a modified R (base) or S (intermediate) model. L stands for Luxury. The model is part of Piaggio's production from 1967 to 1970, and in 1969, 35,293 units were produced, with chassis numbers ranging from V5A1T*595322 to V5A1T*630615.
So, this one, with chassis number V5A1T*628588, was produced at the end of 1969. The production of the L model began precisely in 1967, coinciding with a new graphic and especially commercial/advertising policy of Piaggio. The emblem changes from the old shield type with P to a new hexagon with a blue background, but not only that: the new L version derives from an improvement in the chassis mold, which now has almost 2 centimeters of extension in the bridge, increasing the wheelbase by nearly 2 centimeters.
This modification will significantly improve and increase performance because the longer step makes it more stable and more comfortable.
Unique collectible piece of Italian design and the world's most famous scooter brand, surpassing every era, making this object a true museum piece, whose value is destined to increase significantly over the years.
Pickup is only available in Viterbo (Italy). By prior arrangement and depending on availability, home delivery is also possible for residents of the Central Italy regions with a private van.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
