It was introduced in 1972, when OLYMPUS dominated the medium format camera market with its PEN camera series.

The Olympus 35 ECR is a very compact camera for its time: 11 cm x 7 cm x 5 cm.

It is robust and feels good in the hand, being completely metallic. It weighs 430 grams, without the film roll.

The Olympus 35 ECR features the Olympus E. Zuiko 42 mm f/2.8 lens; a true marvel and perfect for this camera.

The settings, from 25 to 800 ISO, and the CdS light sensor are located on the front of the camera body (if you use a filter, it will automatically compensate for it).

You will find the rewind lever at the bottom and rewind the film back.
