Cross - Wood, Gold bread - 1850-1900 - 44 cm

Beautiful wooden cross finished in antique gold leaf, from the 19th century, with the Greek inscription JHS, which is the Latin abbreviation for the phrase 'Jesus Savior of Men,' used in the liturgy of some church or chapel. It measures 44 cm wide and 33 cm high, showing some signs of use from the passage of time, although it is quite well preserved considering its age. A true gem for collectors of religious items, a unique piece, very difficult to find such an item. It is sold as-is, as shown in the photographs.
