Pendule de cheminée Napoléon III – A. Brocot & Delettrez, Paris – XIXᵉ siècle

Magnifique pendule de cheminée française du XIXᵉ siècle, époque Napoléon III, reposant sur un socle en marbre noir mouluré.

La pendule est surmontée d’un élégant groupe sculpté en régule patiné représentant deux enfants (putti) assis sur un tertre, scène pleine de douceur et de mouvement, typique du goût décoratif de la seconde moitié du XIXᵉ siècle.

Le mouvement mécanique à balancier, signé A. Brocot & Delettrez – Paris, est une production d’une maison horlogère parisienne réputée, gage de qualité et de précision.
Sonnerie des heures et des demi-heures.
