Dirk Stoop (1610–1686) created the etching Man met vijf honden (circa 1651), signed in the plate, in excellent condition, measuring 151 mm high by 195 mm wide, from the Netherlands.

A man met five dogs.
A very beautiful and early print, completed with the etched sky.
This is one of a set of twelve landscapes with animals, created by Stoop in 1651.
Publisher: Clement de Jonghe (possibly), Amsterdam.
A man, seen from the back, sits in the foreground among five dogs. To the left in the background, a rider and a man on foot with dogs are present.
Origin
Renowned auction house Zeeland, featuring a collector's mark on the reverse with initials EG, comes from a large collection of high-quality etchings and engravings. (all marked)
