Seuls des whiskies single malt sélectionnés des distilleries Yamazaki et Hakushu ont été utilisés pour créer ce whisky d'exception. « Furudaru Shiage » signifie « vieilli en vieux fûts » en japonais. Ce whisky spécial a également été filtré au charbon de bambou. Une bouteille rare, voire extrêmement rare, de Suntory. Ce malt/ces malts mystères ont été mis en bouteille en 2005.
