Antique Polyphon duplex tabletop music box from Germany, circa 1850–1900, in a polished walnut case with floral marquetry, weighing 15 kg and measuring 54 × 46 × 20 cm, plays 15¾ inch discs, tested and working and includes a tuning key.

Antique Disc musical box by Polyphon of Leipzig including one music disk
19th century German Polyphon single comb 15.5" disc music box with a floral marquetry inlaid case, mechanism serial # 68080,
Polished walnut case with carved molding around base and floral motif wood inlay on lid. Plays 15-3/4" music discs. Circa 1850-1900.
An excellent quality Polyphon Duplex tabletop antique music box. This music box plays 15 ½” / 39cm discs from within an ornate carved walnut case that is in beautiful condition with a lovely colour and lustre to the wood.
The musical movement is in original condition has an exceptionally good sound.
Mechanism: It operates using a set of pins on a revolving metal disc that plucks the tuned teeth of a steel comb to produce music.
Operation: It features an exterior crank on the right side for operation.
Collectibility: Polyphon music boxes are considered collectibles and were first manufactured by Polyphon Musikwerke in Leipzig, Germany.
