A three-piece Japanese Kutani porcelain tea set dating from the Meiji period (1868–1912), including a teapot with a bamboo handle, a sugar pot with a lid repair, and a milk jug, all hand-painted with birds and blossoms and bearing a red base inscription by Tashiro, total weight 685 g, in good condition with minor ageing signs.

Japanese Kutani 3 pc tea set, featuring hand-painted decorations of flying birds and blossoms in a picturesque landscape. Including teapot with bamboo shape handle and spout, gold trim to the lid. Sugar pot with a lid repair and a thin crack on one side is shown in the images. Plus milk jug also with bamboo shape handle. Each piece with red character script on the base translates to made by Tashiro.
