L’immagine mostra un grande pannello rettangolare in legno, probabilmente di abete o pino, caratterizzato da una venatura verticale ben visibile, con nodi naturali sparsi che conferiscono un aspetto caldo e autentico. Il legno ha una tonalità miele–dorata, uniforme ma viva, che mette in risalto la lavorazione artigianale.

Al centro del pannello è intagliata la sagoma stilizzata di un ulivo, realizzata tramite taglio passante: le parti intagliate lasciano intravedere lo sfondo retrostante, creando un elegante contrasto cromatico tra il legno e il vuoto. Questo gioco di pieni e vuoti dona leggerezza e profondità all’opera.

Lo stile è contemporaneo e minimale, pur richiamando un soggetto fortemente tradizionale e simbolico. L’ulivo, simbolo di pace, longevità, radicamento e mediterraneità, è reinterpretato in chiave moderna, con linee pulite ed essenziali.
