America's Cup 1937
Frame dimensions: 56 cm x 15 cm.
Very beautiful wood grain!
Ranger is a J-Class monocoque built for the American magnate Harold Stirling Vanderbilt. It was the last of this class to be launched to compete in the America's Cup.
Its architects were Starling Burgess and Olin Stephens, and it was built with riveted steel at the Bath Iron Works shipyards in Maine, United States.
