Made of 5mm-thick plexiglass, the cutout of all the helmet lines is perfect, as it's laser-cut. 
The image is a UV print made on the back of the piece, taking advantage of the material's transparency. 

Why plexiglass? 
Because its natural shine is very similar to the reflection of helmet paint.
