Prachtig en decoratief paar Art Nouveau vaasjes of mantelurnen, vervaardigd rond 1900, uitgevoerd in gegoten metaal (spelter / régule) met een warme bronskleurige patina.

De vaasjes zijn rijk gedecoreerd met gestileerde druiventrossen, wijnranken en bladeren, een klassiek en geliefd motief binnen de Art Nouveau-periode. Een veelvoorkomend thema dat overvloed symboliseert. De slanke, licht taps toelopende vorm met dubbele oren en de organische lijnen zijn typerend voor de Jugendstil-esthetiek.

Deze vaasjes waren bedoeld als decoratieve objecten (eventueel voor droogbloemen, 'spills', of als mantelstuk-decoratie) en vormen samen een fraai, harmonieus stel.

Conditie:
Goede, authentieke staat gezien de leeftijd.
– Zichtbare ouderdomssporen en patina, passend bij circa 120 jaar oud gebruik
– Bij één vaasje is onderaan een beschadiging / opening in het decor zichtbaar (zie foto’s)
– Geen recente restauraties waargenomen
