Antique French Gilt Brass and Beveled Glass Diptych Photo Frame, circa 1900

A delicate double (diptych) photo frame featuring two hinged panels crafted from polished brass. Each frame is crowned with a finely detailed ribbon-bow crest. The frame houses its original, exceptionally thick glass panels with deep beveled edges that enhance light reflection.

- Date: Circa 1890 - 1920 (Belle Époque period)
- Style: Louis XVI Revival
- Mechanism: Photos are secured by a rear spring-loaded metal bar against the glass. It stands on small spherical bun feet

CONDITION
- Overall Condition: Excellent antique condition
- Details: Bright brass finish with minor age-related oxidation on the back. Glass panels are intact with no significant chips to the bevels. Stand and hinges are in good working order
