Lucantonio Giunta - Antiphonal Leaf from the 1500s - Gregorian Chants - 1500

Two sheets (four pages) of an antiphonary printed in the early 1500s by the Florentine printer Lucantonio Giunta. The paper is thick, clean, and shows no signs of humidity, only in one corner a very slight yellowing due to human contact over the centuries. The black and red Gothic characters are still very sharp. The sheets have wide margins and the edges are regular (not jagged).

There are four drop caps in red ink.

The pages come from an antiphonary that, unfortunately, has been dismantled due to the poor condition of the binding and the absence of numerous pages.
