Two passive Marantz LS2400 loudspeakers designed by Mordaunt-Short, manufactured in 2002, in good physical condition and tested and working, include an anti-pop filter; dimensions 17 cm high, 11 cm wide, 12 cm deep, weight 8 kg.
Description from the seller
The Marantz LS2400 is an older set of passive hi-fi loudspeakers from the Marantz line that appeared around the early 2000s, a period in which Marantz collaborated a lot with the British speaker manufacturer Mordaunt-Short and M-Short models were also distributed under the Marantz brand. At that time, loudspeakers were often designed with a focus on solid cabinet construction, controlled reflections, and a neutral to warm signature, not on inflated marketing claims as is common today.
This Marantz LS2400 set is passive, built around a traditional 2- or 3-way driver arrangement (mid-bass tweeter) designed to provide a broad listening experience without strong coloration. The cabinets are solid and finished with ample damping; by using reflex ports and components that were common in that period, they perform sonically balanced with adequate bass control and non-fatiguing midrange.
Condition: Given their age, they look well-maintained; the drivers are functioning, no structural damage, and the coils do not rattle.
Shipping: Carefully packed with sturdy protection to prevent transport damage. Available for shipping within the Netherlands and Europe with track & trace; pickup is of course also possible.
