Description from the seller
THE STORY BEHIND
IThe painter does not present a reclining woman as a study of the female body; the figure is silhouetted against a brown background, with a texture that is intentionally very pronounced, using glazes to highlight precisely that painting technique based on brush and spatula. The intention of this work is to show the human essence in connection with a sense of tranquility, achieved by stripping the background of the painting of superfluous elements. Through oil painting, the artist explores the figure at rest, playing with realism, symbolism, and the elegance of minimalism. The color palette plays with transitions between warm and cool tones. This piece will radiate serenity in any space, offering a visual and emotional refuge.
