Antique bronze pestle – Castle Burkley – 19th century
Antique bronze pestle, made in the 19th century and attributed to Castle Burkley. The object is cast in solid bronze and shows a uniform, original patina that corresponds to the age.
The mortar is structurally intact and in good, stable antique condition. Normal signs of use and aging are present, appropriate for its age.
