Deutschland und der korridor 1939, hardcover, 302 pages, from the collection of Thomas Leeflang, renowned journalist and author awarded the Louis Hartlooper Prize for Oeuvre. Signature and stamp present.

A beautiful depiction of the blitzkrieg and the immense strength of the German army during the invasion of Poland (September Campaign). In the foreground you can see senior officers overseeing the operation, with the elite cavalry unit in the foreground. The XX Cavalry Brigade was based on the Totenkopf Horse Regiment, which was formed in September 1939 for police and security tasks in Poland, under the command of Hermann Fegelein.
In good condition though with signs of use; appendix loose and a corner torn off but included. The books are in fair condition, spine damaged, no loose pages or anything of the sort.
