Gucci - Boston - Bag

Authentic vintage Gucci Boston travel bag, originally purchased by the current owner at the Gucci boutique in Rome in 1971.
This classic Gucci travel bag is made in the iconic GG monogram canvas with brown leather details and the distinctive green-red-green web stripe. It is the 48 cm size: the classic Gucci travel/weekend size, larger than the standard Boston 40/45 models and intended as a weekend bag.
The bag shows a beautiful natural patina that suits its age and use.
The structure is sturdy, the canvas is intact, and the interior is clean and well-kept.
Including the original Gucci keys.

Authenticity and Dating
This concerns an early vintage Gucci travel bag from 1971.
For Gucci items from this period, no serial numbers, black serial-number labels, QR codes, or modern authentication labels were used. These features were only introduced by Gucci in later decades and are therefore not present on this object.
