Rare Vintage Pair Ottaviani Silver-Plated Mosaic Electric Lamps – Cat & Fish, Enamel Tesserae – 1970s Italy, Paternoster Retailer – 1154 g
Exceptional “rare matched pair” of vintage Italian electric table/bedside lamps by “Ottaviani” (Recanati, Marche, founded 1945 – prestigious Made in Italy silversmith known for fine silver-plated decorative art, sculptures, and jewelry).
This whimsical animal duo, with colorful micro-mosaic/enamel tesserae decoration (greens, yellows, blues, and accents), features:
- A cozy curled-up kitten/cat with detailed fluffy fur, closed eyes, whiskers, and endearing expression.
- A graceful stylized fish(tropical/koi-inspired) with flowing fins and intricate scales.
Crafted in heavy silver-plated metal (argento laminato), with openwork lantern crowns for soft glowing light, and a warm vintage patina.
