The face of Jesus is portrayed with great care, while the robe (riza) and the background are finely worked with ornamental motifs, symbolic birds in the upper corners, and classical Greek inscriptions:

O Ω N: “He who is,” a typical inscription of the cruciger nimbus.
Open Gospel: Reproduces sacred texts in Greek.
In the bottom right corner, the 925 stamp is clearly visible, guaranteeing the purity of the silver used for the coating.
