Title : Eagles

Information : In 1971, musicians originally from Linda Ronstadt's album Linda Ronstadt (released January 1972) and her touring band formed a band called the Eagles. The band signed to David Geffen's Asylum Records, and Glyn Johns was selected by Glenn Frey to produce. Recording took place over two weeks in February 1972 at Olympic Studios in London, with the exception of "The Nightingale's Song," which was re-recorded at Wally Heider Studios in Los Angeles.
The previously released single, "Take It Easy," written by Glenn Frey and Jackson Browne, was a hit. The album was released on June 1, 1972.
The album cover was photographed by Henry Diltz, with art direction by Gary Barden.
