Mercedes-Benz 380 SL

ALGEMEEN

Sinds zijn debuut in 1971 heeft de R107-serie een blijvende indruk achtergelaten in de wereld van luxe auto’s. Als opvolger van de legendarische Pagode zette dit model een nieuwe standaard op het gebied van comfort, prestaties en veiligheid. Met zijn tijdloze lijnen, solide bouwkwaliteit en kenmerkende uitstraling groeide de R107 uit tot een van de meest geliefde klassieke roadsters ter wereld.

Deze Mercedes 380 SL uit 1983 – inmiddels 43 jaar oud – is een mooi exemplaar van deze iconische serie. De auto wordt geleverd inclusief alle originele boekjes en een schoon Carfax-rapport.

CARROSSERIE & LAKWERK

Het betreft een Oregon-import en de carrosserie is volledig roestvrij. De bodem verkeert in uitzonderlijk nette en kurkdroge staat, wat ook op de foto’s zichtbaar is. Het lakwerk presenteert zich zeer netjes voor zijn leeftijd, al bevinden zich enkele krasjes op het kofferdeksel.

De auto wordt geleverd met zowel een hardtop als een goed functionerende softtop, waardoor hij in elk seizoen inzetbaar is.

INTERIEUR

Het interieur is verzorgd en in nette staat. Het dashboard vertoont enkele scheurtjes, passend bij de leeftijd van de auto. De auto beschikt nog over zijn originele Becker radio en wordt geleverd met het originele boordgereedschap, wat bijdraagt aan het authentieke karakter.

TECHNISCH

Technisch is er veel vernieuwd en de auto loopt, rijdt en schakelt goed. Onder de motorkap en in de kofferbak maakt de auto een zeer verzorgde indruk. De kachel werkt momenteel niet.

De auto heeft de afgelopen jaren langere tijd stilgestaan bij de vorige eigenaar in Oregon, die de Mercedes jarenlang in bezit had. Zoals bij elke klassieker geldt dat er altijd verbeterpunten kunnen zijn.

DOCUMENTEN

Alle invoer- en BTW-kosten zijn voldaan. De auto wordt aangeboden met een Amerikaanse title. Dit betekent dat de auto momenteel niet gekeurd is en nog niet gereed is voor gebruik op de openbare weg.

Vanwege de leeftijd is geen COC-document vereist voor registratie binnen Europa (dit is pas vanaf 1996 van toepassing).

AFHALING

De auto is te bezichtigen en eventueel af te halen in Damwoude, Nederland. Transport door geheel Europa kan in overleg worden geregeld.

OVERIGE INFORMATIE

Wij proberen onze auto’s zo eerlijk en correct mogelijk te omschrijven. Het blijft echter een gebruikte klassieker, waardoor er altijd gebruikssporen of aandachtspunten aanwezig kunnen zijn. Bij twijfel adviseren wij dan ook om de auto persoonlijk te komen bezichtigen voor een juiste indruk.
