Description from the seller

Iconic napkin holder in the shape of a “snail” from WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), crafted from original Cromargan stainless steel.

The design stands out for its clear, functional language of form and is a typical example of German mid-century design from the 1950s/60s. The spiral construction combines aesthetics and function in an elegant way, making the object attractive both as a practical item and as a design object.

The piece still bears the original WMF pendant, a nice collectible feature and an indication of authenticity.

state
Good to very good vintage condition with light age- and wear-related scratches. No deformations, stable and fully functional. See photos as part of the description.
