Louis Malteste’s Marchande de Lacets (1897) is a lithograph in the Art Nouveau style on wove paper, 40.5 × 30.5 cm, plate signed with a blind stamp at the bottom right, from the L'Estampe Moderne set published by Masson & Piazza, and in good condition with minor handling marks and a tiny part missing at the upper right corner.

Signed on the plate lower right margin.
L'Estampe Moderne's blind stamp on the bottom right corner.
Dimensions:
+Size of the sheet : 40,5 x 30,5 cm / 15,9 x 12 in.
+Size of the image : 36,5 x 26 cm / 14,3 x 10,2 in.
Condition: In good condition, with minor handling marks and a tiny part missing upper right corner. Image otherwise very clean. Unframed.

Not unlike the Maitre de L'Affiche series, L'Estampe Moderne was a portfolio printed between 1897-99, published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris, contained 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each. Each was commissioned only for this series.
As well as Mucha, some of the contributing artists included Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.
