Description from the seller

Rare and refined set of five attributed to Montcenis glass plates, dating to approximately the 1830s, an exceptional example of early 19th-century French glassmaking.
Four plates feature a delicate, fine olive-cut pattern, each with a distinctive eight-pointed star cut at the base, and one plate is decorated with a dense diamond-cut pattern, finished with a star-cut base, creating a striking contrast within the set.
All plates are in excellent, remarkable condition for their age, with outstanding clarity and brilliance, showing only minimal and age-appropriate signs of time.
A highly collectible ensemble, reflecting the elegance and craftsmanship of Montcenis production in the early 19th century.
Height — 3.8–4.5 cm
Top diameter — 17-18 cm
Base diameter — 9.4–9.7 cm
