Sevres - Plate - Porcelain - Large plate

Decorative plate made of French porcelain, bearing the mark “Doré à Sèvres” on the reverse.

It is adorned at its center with a figurative scene depicting two feminine figures in a vegetal setting, forming an elegant and peaceful scene, treated in the tradition of Sèvres-style décor of the nineteenth century.
The marli features a blue background richly enhanced with gilding, alternating with painted floral reserves, characteristic of French porcelain from this period.

The reverse bears a red printed mark 'Doré à Sèvres', with a crowned N and the number 70, as well as an additional mark 'S.70'.
