A splendid color lithograph by the great master Renato Guttuso.
Belonging to the series of illustrations executed by the master for Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.
The work indeed depicts Beatrice Portinari, the muse who inspired the supreme poet.

Edition no. 71/150, with the edition number indicated at the bottom left and the artist's pencil signature at the bottom right.

Further provenance/authenticity: Certificate of authenticity prepared by the Cultural Center "La Conca" of Rome certifying, among other things, the provenance of the historic PioMonti Contemporary Art Gallery of Rome.
