Pair of antique Persian lacquered wooden boxes, richly decorated with traditional Persian geometric and floral motifs.
The polychrome decoration, handcrafted, shows meticulous workmanship typical of Persian artisanry, with a harmonious repetition of motifs and a beautiful depth of color.

The boxes rest on small carved feet.
One has a flat lid, the other a domed lid, the latter being equipped with an original decorative metal clasp.

These boxes were traditionally used as jewelry cases, containers for precious objects, or domestic storage boxes.

State:
Good vintage condition. In keeping with its age and use, with no obvious major restorations.
