Bronze Onyx Agate - Middle East (No reserve price)

An antique necklace with an antique bronze object.
and a simple hook closure.

The bronze object is Roman to Byzantine, circa 1st–6th century.
and has a beautiful, authentic patina.
The type of corrosion indicates long-term soil exposure.
It concerns thick, irregular corrosion.
The object could be a coin, an amulet.
Later (19th–20th centuries), this was fashioned into a necklace.
The beads of the necklace are made of agate and onyx.
