Beautiful and rare silver 1920s/1930s Art Deco bracelet with a cut carnelian and marcasites. Fine quality! Marked: 'V' = Dutch tax mark for silver objects of 'foreign origin' i.e., unknown/foreign origin (1906-1953) + secondary mark(2) and 830. N.B. Carnelian, also known as cornelian, is associated with vitality, courage, creativity, and life force. In ancient Egypt it was regarded as a healing and protective stone, even associated with the goddess Isis.
