Saxoléine, circa 1896
Lithograph on wove paper.
Plate-signed.
Dimensions:
+Size of the sheet: 31 x 22 cm / 12,2 x 8,6 in.
Condition: In good condition, with minor discoloration stains on the left border margin and soft handling creases at the edges. Image very clean otherwise with vivid colors. Not framed.
This lithograph was included as a plate in Ernest Maindron's book "Les Affiches illustrées (1886-1895)” printed in Paris by l'Imprimerie Chaix in 1896.
The book was printed in an edition of 1,025 and had 84 color plates of which this is one, making it quite rare.
