Petri FTE + 1,7/55mm | Analogue camera

Petri FTE for sale, a 35mm SLR produced in Japan from 1973, successor to the Petri FT line. This camera is known for offering a shutter-priority automatic exposure system, while retaining a mechanical shutter for all speeds (1s to 1/500s + B), a robust feature that allows you to shoot even without batteries in manual mode.


The metal body is paired with the standard Petri CC Auto 55mm f/1.7 lens, a bright six-element optic with a proprietary Petri breech-lock mount. The lens is treated with a "cc" (color corrected) coating for better color rendition. The camera shows some signs of wear, and the exposure metering system (which would require mercuric batteries 1.35V no longer on the market) is declared non-functional, but the shutter and aperture mechanisms are operational. Comes with an original ready-to-use bag and box. Included is the Petri FTE camera with 55mm f/1.7 lens, bag and box as shown in the pictures.
