Five different trinket boxes in Lakwerk and papier‑maché, of European origin, dating to the second half of the 20th century, in good condition with minor signs of age.
Description from the seller
5 different trinket boxes.
The first is a Chinese lacquer box with two mother-of-pearl inlaid figures. The dimensions are 4 x 8 cm.
The second one is slightly older, possibly from the 1920s-1930s. It is hand-painted with a bird and leaves.
The interior has some wear.
The dimensions are 3 × 5 cm.
The third is a hand-painted Kashmir papier-mâché box with a detailed floral motif.
It has a rounded lid and a nice serrated detail on the front. This one measures 4 x 12.5 x 5.5 cm.
The fourth one is a vintage Burmese lacquer box with a dragon motif on the lid. These dimensions are 2.5 x 8.5 cm.
The fifth is a floral, papier-mâché box. It has some damage along the top edge of the lacquer surface.
This isn’t actually damaged.
These dimensions are 5 x 11.5 x 9 cm.
The weight is 310 grams.
