Oil on canvas painted by the Spanish artist Montse Aráez (1953)
In the scene, two altar boys are depicted with light, impressionistic brushstrokes, creating a scene of refinement and delicacy, with a chromatic contrast between pure white and the red of the cassocks.
Signed in the bottom right, with the gallery stamp on the back.
The piece is provided with a gilded classical-style frame and decorated with floral motifs in the corners.

About the artist: Montse Aráez (1953). Based in Alicante, she trained at the Higher School of Fine Arts of Valencia.
She has exhibited in Madrid, Barcelona, Porto, Lisbon, Mallorca, Málaga and Palma de Mallorca. In her canvases the Mediterranean light vibrates under the Levantine sky. Born into a family of artists, her father Juan Aráez was her teacher.
